Digital Extra: Rear-axle steering
Rear‑axle steering with up to 10° adjustment[1] delivers extraordinary agility and maneuverability for the new Mercedes‑Benz S‑Class. It makes parking and maneuvering in tight spaces effortless, while adapting to speed and surface—reducing the turning circle by nearly 2 meters and enhancing stability at higher speeds. The system intelligently adjusts to provide greater stability and driving confidence in every situation.[1][10]

The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers.
